Rip the Roller Time Trial Complete Rules & Maps

All riders will be able to practice the routes that they register to ride prior to the actual timed laps, please see the schedule for practice and race anticipated timing. Timing for the Expert Line and Line A will be done utilizing a laser timer, riders will break the first laser to start their time and will break the second laser to stop the timer. The Circle line will be timed with stop watches. The racer with the quickest time will be the winner of that group. We will award prizes to the top three riders in each group. Registration is being completed on Bikereg.com. The Pump Track Time Trial will be a new event for Hanover Township we are looking forward to everyone coming out to see who is the fastest around. All riders are guaranteed 1 race run and we will work to make sure every rider gets at least one practice run on the day of the event.

All Participants:
Have fun, Be Courteous, Be Supportive, Be Helpful
Helmet: open face helmet mandatory, full face strongly recommended.
Riders will bring all equipment needed in a fully operational condition.
T-shirts are mandatory, long sleeves with pads are recommended.
Long pants or knee protection is recommended.
Shoes mandatory, no flip flops or open shoes.
Gloves recommended.

Bikes:
No bikes with any kind of automatic transmission or motor.
No protruding parts on the bike, which can injure other riders (such as pegs).
The bike should have at least 1 rear brake.
Riders Start with front wheel on start line and one foot on the ground.
Riders will be able to peddle to the timing line.
No peddling after a rider crosses the timing line. (Expert and Line A riders)
Unless the rider comes to a complete stop

Skateboards:
No skateboard with any kind of motor
Skaters Start with front wheels on start line and one foot on the ground.
Riders will be able to kick to the timing line.
No kicking after a rider crosses the timing line.

Scooter:
No scooter with any kind of motor
Scooters Start with front wheel on start line and one foot on the ground.
Riders will be able to kick to the timing line.
No kicking after a rider crosses the timing line.

Circle Track
A lap and ½ for each rider (will be timed with stopwatch)
14” or smaller wheels
No motors allowed
No training wheels allowed
