Hanover Township provides its residents with 12 different neighborhood parks. Each of which, listed here, has something to offer no matter what the user is desiring. Whether you enjoy a quiet park for an afternoon picnic, a fun evening activity with your family or a weekend of sports, Hanover Township has a perfect park for you to enjoy!
Disc Golf Course
Hanover Township’s has it own Disc Golf Course (9 hole) located behind the Community Center.
Municipal Park
3660 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017
This park is the largest (65.3 acres) and most centrally located park in Hanover Township. The municipal buildings, community center (HTCC), pool and Lions Pavilion are located here.
The park is home to many fine active recreational facilities. They include: three baseball/softball fields, one soccer/football field, one lacrosse field, dog park, one basketball court, one sand volleyball court, four tennis courts, various playground equipment/structures and finally a lighted walking/biking pathway. The park is also equipped with nine picnic tables and fifteen benches for passive recreational use.
Birchwood Park
1150 Bluestone Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18017
This park is a 1.3 acre passive recreational facility nestled within a quiet residential neighborhood in Stafore Estates.
Directions: Exit from community center and turn left onto Jacksonville Rd. Proceed approximately 1/4 mile and turn right onto Granit Dr. Take first left onto Marble and then left onto Bluestone Dr. Arrive at the park on your right.
Crawford Park
4200 Harriet Lane, Bethlehem, PA 18017
Crawford park contains 3 athletic fields (mainly meant for Soccer), bathrooms and a full playground.
Troxell Park
4875 Matts Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18017
A 2.5 acre park with a large and small tot lot designed for children 2-12 years old. There are also various other playground games, and riding activities as well as 6 swings (2 infant). There are 6 park benches at various locations throughout the park.
Directions: From HTCC, turn right on Jacksonville Rd. then right onto Crawford Dr. From Crawford, turn left onto Susan Dr. and then left onto Matts Dr. The park will be on your left.
Pharo Park
3745 Kim Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017
This 2.3 acre open space park has a small tot lot with equipment and swings designed for children 2-10 years old. The park also includes a basketball court, two tennis courts, a softball field and a handball wall. The park has a walking path on the exterior and several park benches.
Directions: From community center, turn right onto Jacksonville Rd. and immediately turn left onto Gasper Ave. Follow Gasper Ave. until the T at Kim St. Turn left onto Kim St. and the park will be on the right.
First Responders Park
4025 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109
This park is a 21 acre recreational park that has 4 fields which currently house Lacrosse and Soccer. The field was formerly known as Village View Park and is now home to the Hanover Starz Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams. It also has parking for 160 cars.
Directions: Out of the Municipal Park, take a right onto Jacksonville Road. Travel North .5 miles to a stoplight. Take a left onto Orchard Lane and go .6 miles and take a left at traffic light onto Airport Road. Proceed .6 miles and take your 2nd right on to an unmarked road. Proceed .1 miles and take a right, proceed .1 miles and take a left into the parking lot.
Monocacy Park
5800 Hanoverville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017
One of the newest parks in the Township, the 8.5 acres of Monocacy Park has yet to be developed. It is currently a large, plat parcel of land bordered by trees and a cornfield.
Directions: From HTCC, turn right onto Jacksonville Rd. and then right onto Hanoverville Rd. Next, turn left onto Mary Ann Ln and left again onto Monocacy Dr. to Monocacy Farms Park on the left.
Armed Services Park
5425 Hanoverville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017
This is a .85 acre park dedicated to the men and women who served our country in all brances of the United States Military. The flag of each branch is flown and six park benches provide a spot to rest as you reflect on the sacrifices made by the heroes in our armed services.
Directions: From HTCC, turn right onto Jacksonville Rd. then right onto Hanoverville Rd. The park is located at the intersection of Hanoverville Rd. and Bath Pike (PA Route 512).
Delta Manor
3200 Harmor Lane, Bethlehem, PA 18017
This park is a .7 acre park with open space and is designed for children from 2-10 years old. The park includes a slide, 3 spring riders and 6 swings (2 infant). There is also a park bench to relax on.
Directions: From HTCC, turn left onto Jacksonville Rd. then turn right onto Stoke Park Rd. Next, turn left onto Chaucer Lane and then left onto Kenwood Dr. Delta manor will be on the right.
Santee Heights
600 Blair Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017
Also known as Macada North, this is a 4.3 acre open space park with a tot lot with equipment and swings designed for children 2-10 years old. The park also includes a small sided soccer field and mature trees. The park has a picnic table toward the rear and several park benches.
Directions: Exit from HTCC and turn left onto Jacksonville Rd. Proceed approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Blair Ave. The park is situated on the left side at the intersection of Blair Ave. and Kevin Dr.
Dog Park at HTCC
Built in the Hanover Township Municipal Park in 2016, the dog park has dog runs for small and large dogs. Each run features play areas, obstacles and fire hydrants with water fountains.
