In 2001 the Board of Supervisors created the Recreation Advisory Board, by Ordinance 01-02, to supervise, regulate, equip, and maintain Township-funded recreation programs and facilities in accordance with the Second Class Township Code. Each member shall serve for a term of five (5) years. The Recreation Advisory Board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Hanover Township Municipal Building located at 3630 Jacksonville Road.
